AI & Governance

AI governance your legal team can run itself.

A practical legal AI and operations readiness system for teams that need structure, evidence and management visibility without starting with enterprise software.

Assess → Prioritise → Govern → Evidence

From scattered AI use to a documented operating baseline.

The toolkit connects governance controls to the legal-operations foundations AI depends on: owned data, usable matter records, clear responsibilities and client/counsel expectations.

Why legal teams

Governance alone is not enough if the operating system is weak.

A policy cannot fix an unknown tool estate, inconsistent contract records, poor intake, weak verification or unclear outside-counsel expectations. Practice Systems deliberately joins the governance and operations questions.

The toolkit is a readiness and governance aid. It is not a certification, regulator approval, technical model audit or substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal, privacy, cybersecurity or other specialist advice.

Common questions

Clear scope. No inflated claims.

Is this an ISO 42001 certification product?

No. The methodology can draw on recognised governance concepts, but the product is not ISO certification and does not represent that an organisation is compliant with a standard.

Does Practice Systems receive our AI register or confidential assessment data?

The self-service model is designed so the customer can keep its working data inside its own environment unless it chooses to share material for a separately scoped review.

Can a law firm use the toolkit across several offices?

The standard licence is for one purchasing organisation/legal entity. Multi-entity or group use is handled under a group licence.

Can we ask for expert review?

Yes. Evidence review, interviews, document review and management/board sessions can be scoped separately, with the reviewer, scope, sampling and limitations stated clearly.
